在这个经济发展压倒一切的时代，在这个物质生活愈趋丰富、精神世界却越加枯萎的时代，我们总要给自己寻找一些激起我们生存的勇气的东西，某种精神，或者说是某种力量。

　　于是在我翻开《1968——反叛年代》第一篇时，看到那张玻利维亚军方向世人展示被杀害的厄内斯特·切·格瓦纳的尸体的照片时，我感到异常愤怒，并且突然感到怀念。这个印在体恤上的传奇英雄，这个“解放”和“斗争”的代名词的浪漫主义者，都让这个时代的人感到惭愧。

　　他的确是站着被枪决的，处决他的CIA还拍下格瓦纳的遗容作证。看到这句话的时候我突然想到瞿秋白坐在草地上对行刑的人说“此地正好”...他们身上都有一些我们没有或者已经失去的力量，那种力量使得他们无畏并且坦然。
　　问一下自己能为什么而慷慨赴死？你肯定告诉我，别傻了，生命多重要...
　　整个社会的价值观在改造过程中，不是毁坏，而是毁灭。
　　他们让我怀念，因为那种彻底的反抗和斗争，那种不能容忍一点压迫的理想主义和浪漫主义。这些选择用生命的大部分时间为整个人类事业而奋斗，在自己的时间写日记和诗歌的可爱可敬的人们，怎么不让我感到自己生活了然无趣？我们早就习惯这个世界的格局、这个社会的等级，我们习惯了忍耐和沉默，到最后或许根本就不存在忍耐？
　　我们关心自己的衣服和鞋子，今天的午餐吃什么，偶尔看一些国际新闻或者和女友闹点别扭，每天行走于三点一线，我们做着自己...
　　仅以此段文字表达我浅薄的怀念，并以个人的名义作为我们这一代人墓志铭。
